Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Data Analyst who is looking for a high-impact role. You will be the data leader and will work across the entire organization, define data strategy, build scalable pipelines, drive insights, and eventually grow a data team.

What will you do:

• Own and lead all things data—from strategy to execution.
• Design and implement BigQuery-based data pipelines that can scale as we grow.
• Ensure high-availability (99.95%+ uptime) for mission-critical data systems.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines to support real-time and batch analytics.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to translate company needs into data-driven decisions.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools that provide visibility into business performance.
• Implement predictive models and advanced analytics to optimize growth, customer retention, and product usage.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Plan for scale - anticipate data challenges as we 10x our user base and data volume.
• Optional - Hire and lead a data team as we grow.
• Be crucial part of generative AI features

What will you need?

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
• 1+ years of experience in Data Science or Data Engineering - Big Advantage.
• Experience being the sole data expert in an R&D-driven team.
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery and cloud-based data solutions (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar).
• Experience maintaining 99.95%+ uptime for production-grade data pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python for data processing and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehouse architecture, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup where speed, agility, and adaptability matter.
• A passion for building for scale - you anticipate challenges before they happen.
• Strong communication skills - you can break down complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
